At home until January Session

Filed under: Uncategorized, My Experiences (blog) — spideylight @ 11:50 pm

Well, after waiting for a longer-than-expected time for my visa processing I have requested to start in January. It means I get to spend more time at home here with family…there’s really no other option for that. I also discovered the Vanier CGS scholarship opportunity, and I am adding it to the goals for next selection (Nov 2010). This means I will have time to make my application really strong…I had no idea about the program until recently. Anyway, I need to clarify my research directions and target everything towards them.

Hmm, in other news. I’ve gotten better at chess…and played some checkers, and studied some more pin juggling. I’ve also completed my first sudoku puzzle and enjoyed it. I also caught a bit of a bad cold recently :) but still chugging along….ooh and my interest in martial arts is growing again. I’m soo happy about that…still wanting to grow in my chen style taichi, and learn bagua as my real art. Note to self: buy a copy of Sun Lu-Tang’s impossible to read Bagua book…

Finally, NANOWRIMO is starting up again, so I gotta get my novel writing hat on. I have the time. PEACE
